Kenneth Buffin is an economist, statistician and actuary with career experience extending over more than 40 years. During his career, he has served in various leadership roles, including President of a major international consulting firm and as Chairman of several committees of various professional organizations. He previously served as Chairman of the International Association of Consulting Actuaries, Chairman of the Supranational Relations Committee of the International Actuarial Association, and Chairman of the American Academy of Actuaries Social Security Committee. At various times during his professional career, he has worked as a consultant to several international organizations, including the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the InterAmerican Development Bank, as well as several agencies of the United Nations.
